I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.Give me Scripture over mine - or anyone else's heart - any day!

My Heart or Scripture?
Was reading through some blogs the other day and ran across a comment that said "The Lord laid it on my heart to pray for our president." Hmmm. Silly me. I thought the Lord laid that in the Scriptures (1 Timothy 2:1-2):
