Three brief observations about the food here:
(1.) These folks know how to eat breakfast! The breakfasts here put even the best breakfast buffets I’ve seen in the US to shame. We’ve been eating a big breakfast, skipping lunch, and having dinner - and that’s more than enough food!
(2.) Germans eat a lot of ice cream. I mean, a LOT! Ice cream shops are everywhere. So, trying to fit in, we’ve had to join in . . . :-)
(3.) Germans eat a lot of schwein! It seems like half the menus here are pork!
