Yes!

I haven't blogged in a bit - my brain has been void of thoughts and I've been busy and tired with all sorts of things, including learning Latin. But I had to put a word in this morning for my Phillies! R.I.P. Dodgers, Torre, and Manny. And if our pitching holds up, I like our chances in the Series.

Are you refreshing an earlier knowledge of Latin or starting from scratch? Do you have a mentor/tutor or are you doing this on your own or through an internet site. I've found a number of internet study groups and have toyed with the idea of refreshing my highschool Latin (of almost 40 years ago), but have been a little gun shy of doing so. I'd be curious to hear what you're doing.

Also, we'll miss seeing you at Mt Olive this weekend. Martha and I'll be going down Friday. Hope to see you sometime soon.

Neely,

I will miss all of you in NC this weekend also. Just too much for me this year. As for Latin, I am starting pretty much from scratch, but have a wonderful teacher to lead me through Wheelock's grammar - Mrs. Joanna Hensley. We "meet" via telephone twice a week and try to cover two chapters a week. So far I have been able to keep up. I enjoy the translating and it has been interesting so far.

Have a great weekend. Hope to see you soon.
